Canine Christmas Festival and Adopt-A-ThonThe best Christmas gift a dog can receive is a loving home. At the Canine Christmas Festival and Adopt-A-Thon 2017 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Nov. 18, 2017, dog lovers can bring their own dogs or look for a new furry addition to the family.

The event features opportunities to adopt adorable dogs, a pet parade, a doggie fashion show, games, contests and a dog IQ test. Pets can even get pictures with Santa Clause! There will also be plenty of food and drinks available for purchase.

Admission is free. All dogs must be well-behaved, on leashes and have current inoculation tags.

The holiday event occurs at Bishop SPCA Animal Shelter grounds 5718 21st Ave. West, Bradenton.
