Celebrate Snooty’s 67th Birthday at the South Florida Museum

Snootys BirthdaySnooty is the world’s oldest manatee on record, and on July 18, 2015, his 67th birthday is being celebrated.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. you and your family can attend Snooty’s 67th Birthday Bash and Wildlife Festival. The party in the Spanish Plaza (in front of the South Florida Museum) is free, and in honor of Snooty, the museum admission prices have been in knocked down to $9 for adults, seniors 65 and older along with kids ages 4-12 are $7, and all children under 4 are free with a paying adult.

There are free cookies and drinks for children along with games and craft activities. Plus, wildlife facts and a display of birthday cards for Snooty that were all sent in for the card contest, and even more.

The South Florida Museum is located at 201 W 10th Street, Bradenton. Snooty was born on July 21, 1948 at the old Miami Aquarium and Tackle Company. Happy 67th, Snooty!
