Sarasota Multicultural Earth Festival

The Earth is filled with uniqueness and diversity, including the way of people. Experience a sliver of the world by attending the very first Sarasota Multicultural Earth Festival, hosted by the Sarasota Native American Indian Festival Community.

From April 15th to the 17th, 2016, you can experience the dance, music, food and culture, the attention brought to eco-consciousness, and the various cultures this Earth is home to. Learn about the world around you with interaction, by viewing an authentic Native encampment, the Nahui Ollin Aztec Dancers from Mexico City, and The Napraforgok (Sunflowers) Hungarian Folk Dance Ensemble. Additionally, The Drake School of Irish Dance from Sarasota and a special guest of Freedomcry, a Boston Reggae recording artist, will be featured. The Sarasota Multicultural Earth Festival is family-friendly, as there will be a Kid’s Zone as well as guest speakers to bring to light knowledge about the environment and more.

Tickets are to be purchased at the gate, costing $8 for adults, $3 for those ages 6 to 12, and there is no admission charge for children five and under. On Friday, the festival lasts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Head out to Sarasota Fairgrounds, 3000 Ringling Blvd, Sarasota to enjoy the Sarasota Multicultural Earth Festival. The world truly is a fascinating and beautiful place due to its diversity.
